Long overdue and anxiously-awaited, finally JeffersPet.com is getting a makeover.
A New Look
The first thing you will notice is that the overall look will have changed drastically. It will be much cleaner, brighter and easier to see with a more contemporary feel. More importantly, it will be far more user friendly.
User Friendly
We took into account what our customers want, need and/or use the most and we built the new JeffersPet.com just for you. We made the things you already use easy to find and we threw in some great new things that should make shopping much easier.
One of the most important and LONG AWAITED additions is the ability to use your gift cards online. Not only will you have the ability to do this but as a registered user, once you log in, you can register your gift card and then if it is ever lost or stolen, no one else can use it. Plus, you can check the balance any time you want.
Another addition is the Wish List. Many people have wanted a wish list for a while. By logging in, you will have access to a wish list, a calendar of events that you can manage, a quick order list (of frequently ordered items), and an avatar to represent who you are.
We also completely overhauled our categories or departments. We have fewer main departments cluttering up the main pages and more levels of subdepartments for narrowing or refining your search while browsing. At each stage you will see matching results but you’ll be able to narrow further if needed. Best of all, at any stage of your browsing, should you find what you are seeking, you will be able with one click to ADD TO CART, ADD TO WISH LIST, ADD TO QUICK LIST or REVIEW THIS PRODUCT. We have eliminated unnecessary steps where possible and added features and benefits everywhere we could.
Our search box is bigger but more important is its improved functionality. The new search engine will search for item codes, product names, descriptions and keywords looking for the best match, all of this in a split second. It will then show the results rated by relevance.
We’ve added a new feature that allows you to SHOP BY BRAND, by which you will be able to click on a familiar logo and see all the products we carry from that company/brand.
There is a section, also, that shows the most common searched terms on our site for the last hour, in case you aren’t sure what you want or you’re just “window-shopping”. As an added bonus, you, the customer, will be able to Rate and/or Review our products right on the product page and help your fellow customers decide which product(s) is/are better.
Wholesale/Resellers
We haven’t forgotten you. I know you’ve heard it before but you will finally be able to see your wholesale prices online. Woo-Hoo! By logging in, once we’ve validated that yours is a wholesale account, you will see exactly what you will actually pay for every item. You can place your order at your leisure right from your computer… in your pajamas if you wish.
There are so many things that we are excited about and we hope that you will be too. The target date for the rollout of the new site is still a little fuzzy but we are in testing stages and we are hoping to be up before CHRISTMAS if not by THANKSGIVING!
